Q: Three words to describe Singapore.
Exhilarating, beyond-today, freedom
Q: The best meal I’ve ever had in Singapore:
A plate of perfectly al dente pasta, Sunday lunch with Reto Wittwer, President and CEO of the Kempinski Hotel Group – I think it was in a museum restaurant.
Q: The best experience I’ve ever had in Singapore:
Standing on the helicopter landing pad of the roof of what is now the Swissotel The Stamford. You seemed to be able to see most of South-east Asia.
Q: My most treasured souvenir of Singapore:
I was over-nighting between Sydney and London and it was a Singapore holiday. My Apple Mac had lost connectivity. The Shangri-La Hotel’s IT man somehow found the Apple guru at his home and he found the necessary part. Nowhere else in the world would that happen.
