Sleeping beauty on the road

• 48% of women use extra pillows while in a hotel room (39% men).
• 15% of women vary their beauty routine while on the road compared to 8% of men, with 22% of women spending less time on beauty, while 16% wearing more makeup.
• More women than men stick to one colour scheme in clothing while travelling (37% to 27%).

Target the web-wise women


70% of all travel decisions are made by women, regardless of who they travel with, who pays for the trip, or where they go.

• Online travel agency ZUJI's latest Online Travel Report showed that 44% of bookings were made by female travellers, a 12% increase since 2005.
• Earlier this year, American Airlines created the first airline website (AA.com/women) specifically for the 48% of its current customers who are women.

Get in her good books
