From the historical and yet trendy river precinct to the now-iconic Esplanade
Theatres perched alongside the distinct architecture of Marina Bay Sands, much
of the city's architectural heritage and contemporary additions to the
landscape are well within one's sight, not to mention camera angle.
Indeed, much can be, and have been, said about the national efforts to develop
into a city that Singaporeans can truly be proud of, and a destination that
visitors will remember and re-visit. But don't take my word for it - go see for
yourself, at the Esplanade Bridge and other vantage points.
This month, the entertainment scene will turn up a notch with the opening of the
Crystal Pavilions, homes to the highly-anticipated Louis Vuitton Island Maison
and nightclubs, Avalon and Pangaea, all within the span of one week. And of
course the Grand Prix Season Singapore 2011 and the fourth FORMULA ONE night
race zoom in right after that.
September is certainly gearing up to get our hearts pumping with adrenalin - the
social calendar is alive with something for everyone so it's time to bring out
your party clothes.
Sincerely,
Oliver Chong
