Great partnerships help make the Singapore Experience even deeper and richer

I knew last year’s inaugural FORMULA ONE race was going to a hard act to beat; but this year’s event was clearly and consistently better.

My favourite moment outside the race was seeing Beyonce give 200 per cent in her sizzling performance in Singapore at F1 ROCKS™ - what a treat! With the whole range of parties and concerts throughout the weekend, it was really Party Central in Singapore!

The success of the race, concerts and festivities would not have been possible without the close involvement of our partners: the various government agencies and our tourism stakeholders. Being in partnership means having to understand each others’ objectives, motivations and then striving for mutual success.

This theme of partnerships is highlighted in our recently released Annual Report 2008/2009, which can be found online at www.stbannualreport.com.sg. Over the past year, Singapore has celebrated many outstanding and unique projects in partnership with various organisations; and we highlight a few in this month's issue of P@ssport.

So here’s to great partnerships in making the Singapore Experience even deeper and richer in the years to come.
