While not exactly a snow-covered winter wonderland, Singapore during Christmas is no less festive, especially when “Christmas in the Tropics” hits town. Marked by iridescent holiday lights along the shopping streets, elegantly decorated Christmas trees and glittery storefronts, the annual Christmas light-up has become a familiar and heart-warming sight for visitors and Singaporeans alike.
When it comes to entertainment, we are often spoilt for choice and this year is no exception. The Sentosa Harbourfront precinct has now joined in the fun , and together with Orchard Road and Marina Bay, will be presenting more special Christmas experiences for visitors to enjoy.
On top of that, the holiday calendar is packed with exciting events such as Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at the ArtScience Museum, hit Broadway musicals WICKED at Marina Bay Sands, launch of Universal Studios Singapore’s TRANSFORMERS: THE RIDE and of course the return of ZoukOut – Singapore’s much-anticipated annual beach party.
If I were you, I would stay put in Singapore this December and experience all that our city has to offer.
Sincerely,
Oliver Chong
