2007 - Another record-breaking year

Even as I write this, we at the STB are counting the days till we welcome the arrival of our 10th millionth visitor this month.

Yes, we are set to break another visitor arrival record - the fourth year in a row we have done so.

This is such good news to end the year with - a significant milestone indeed for Singapore tourism.

The encouraging visitor arrival figures are indeed testament to the hard work and strong support from our industry players, making Singapore a truly unique destination for our visitors.

In this issue, we invited industry leaders to share their views on the year that was - the key events that happened and that will have ripple effects in the new year - with some reflecting on the way we do business and how that ought to change in the new business landscape.

So as we party into the last lap of 2007, let's bring out the bubbly to celebrate another successful year for Singapore tourism that we've had and get ready for the bold new times that await us in a new calendar year.
