Sharing Singapore's latest happenings at ITB Berlin

Going to ITB Berlin every year is an eye-opener. It keeps you abreast of new trends and issues that are unfolding in the travel marketplace, and it opens your eyes to what the competition is also doing.

This year, Uniquely Singapore hosted a Fireball in which we showcased the 2008 FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix and invited our industry colleagues over for drinks and catch up on the latest happenings in Singapore.

Needless to say, we had lots to tell them - Singapore Flyer, the two new integrated resorts, the transformation of Marina Bay, the rejuvenation of Singapore River, the sporting events from Formula 1™ to Youth Olympic Games to the Volvo Ocean Race.

And of course there's the new cruise terminal that will open by 2010, which is really exciting news for the cruise industry. As you know, Europeans love their cruises and this development will sail right into their hearts.
