The 22nd Korean World Travel Fair

MPI-WEC 2009 will take place from 11 to 14 July 2009 in Salt Lake City, Utah. At WEC 2009, it is a platform to examine ways to enhance the value of meetings and events offered to attendees and other stakeholders, for improvement, empowerment and growth.

The 22nd Korean World Travel Fair

KOTFA 2009 will take place from 4 to 7 June 2009 in Seoul, Korea. An exhibition attended by over 80,000 travel industry professionals, buyers and specialists and travel consumers, to promote the exchange of travel information by sharing new ideas, products and services with travel professionals and the public.

IMEX 2009

IMEX 2009 will take place from 26 to 28 May 2009 in Frankfurt, Germany. Over 3,500 exhibitors from more than 150 countries will showcase their destinations and products at this global exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events.

IT&CM 2009

Scheduled to take place from 15 to 17 April 2009, the third IT&CM (Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings) China is a platform where international and Chinese players in the MICE industry meet to explore business opportunities as well as generate new sales leads and strengthen business partnerships with existing clients.

Philippines Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) Travel Tour Expo

The TravelTour Expo, held in Philippines from 6 to 8 February 2009, was conceptualized by PTAA in 1994 to showcase the products and services of its members. Since then, the show has evolved into a much awaited annual industry event, covering practically all segments of the travel business.

ASEAN Tourism Forum 2009

Held in Hanoi, Vietnam from 5 to 12 January 2009, ASEAN Tourism Forum is the the largest-scale activity in the ASEAN tourism cooperation framework. The eight-day forum draws participation of around 1.500 delegates including tourism ministers, leaders of national tourism offices, travel agents, tour operators, press corps in the region and worldwide aiming at turning ASEAN into a united tourist destination contributing to visitor exchanges, friendly cooperation, cultural exchanges, peace and prosperity development in the region.

MIPIM Asia is an exciting conference and exhibition event focused on real estate in Asia Pacific, and designed to encourage western investment and to facilitate deals across Asia Pacific between local investors. Held from 19 to 21 November 2008, MIPIM Asia provides the professionals from the industry with a unique insight into the Asia Pacific market with world class conferences and an exceptional showcase of development projects from the region.

From 9 to 12 September 2008, World Medical Tourism & Global Health Congress offers to connect top international hospitals, medical tourism companies and other professionals for networking and business opportunities.

Held in Tokyo, Japan from 18 to 21 September 2008, JATA World Tourism Congress & Travel Fair 2008 comprises an international marketing conference, where tourism professionals gather to discuss themes relating to the development of the travel industry, and a trade fair and exhibition where travel offerings are showcased.

From 16 to 24 Aug 2008, TTC Travel Mart, a travel fair, will be held in Jakarta and Surabaya, Indonesia, where travel industry players will showcase their products and services.

From 28 to 31 July 2008, the Medical Tourism North Asia will take place in Taiwan, showcasing a mixture of tourism workshops and conferences with highlights on building the foundation for medical travel, developing an effective medical travel programme in hospitals, and other topical issues related to medical tourism and healthcare globalization.

From 4 to 7 May 2008, The Health Care Globalization Summit will be held. It is an event that focuses on the solutions being developed around quality, continuity of care, medical information exchange technology, insurance coverage and on raising awareness and acceptance among consumers, employers and other stakeholders for the cost saving benefits of medical travel.

Arabian Travel Market 2008 will take place from 6 to 9 May 2008 at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre. It is a travel and tourism exhibition that gives delegates an opportunity to learn, network, and keep up-to-date with industry news and company launches..

From 4 to 6 April 2008, the 3rd World Health Tourism Congress 2008 offers healthcare providers from around the world the chance to create business opportunities and form partnerships with the largest corporate healthcare buyers in the world. The Congress will focus on Medical Treatment, Sports Medicine, Wellness Treatment (Spa & Health resort) and Cosmetic Surgery.

32nd APEC – Tourism Working Group meeting will take place from 5 to 7 April 2008. It’s a meeting that aims to recognise the tourism industry for its growing importance in promoting economic growth and social development in the Asia-Pacific region.

Scheduled to take place from 9 to 11 April 2008, IT&CM China is an event where international and Chinese players in the MICE industry meet to explore business opportunities as well as generate new sales leads and strengthen business partnerships with existing clients.

The Melbourne Holiday & Travel Expo that will take place from 12 to 13 April 2008 is an event where international players in the travel industry promote destinations and holidays on offer. This Expo provides consumers a great opportunity to meet with travel industry representatives that showcase a wide array of destinations to choose from.

From 5 to 7 March, the 2nd annual China Incentive Travel 2008 will be held in Shanghai, where professionals from the incentive travel industry will gather to exchange views, discuss common issues and concerns and share insights about the incentive travel market.

Scheduled to take place from 19 to 22 March 2008, the Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (MITT) is a travel and tourism exhibition targeted at the travel buyers.

The Sunday Mail Escape Holiday & Snow Expo, which will be held from 29 to 30 March 2008, is the a major independent exhibition in Brisbane dedicated to the travel industry. Both exhibitors and visitors can expect to find out more about the new products and developments in the travel marketplace.

From 15 to 17 February, the Perth Holiday & Travel Expo, an annual consumer event that promotes destinations and holidays on offer and provides updates on the latest attractions, news and upcoming events in Singapore, will be held.

The 16th Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo, scheduled to take place from 19 to 20 February, is an annual exhibition for companies in the incentives and meetings sector in the Asia-Pacific.

Scheduled to take place from 21 February to 2 March in Tainan County, the 2008 Taiwan Lantern Festival will showcase lanterns of all shapes and sizes.

From 8 to 13 January 2008, the annual tourism trade fair, Vakantiebeurs, will be held in the Netherlands, where consumers, trade visitors and professionals from the travel industry, press and media will gather to share travel information.

CMT Stuttgart, scheduled to take place from 12 to 20 January 2008, is an international exhibition for caravanning, motoring, tourism with cycling and adventure holidays, golf and wellness holidays, cruises and ship travel.

The ASEAN Tourism Forum 2008 will be held in Bangkok from 18 to 26 January 2008. Under the theme, "Synergy of ASEAN Towards Dynamic Unity in Diversity", tourism stakeholders from ASEAN countries will gather at the ATF 2008 to share news and views on tourism.

The Arab Health exhibition and congress, to be held from 28 to 31 January 2008 in Dubai, is the region's premier event for the Middle East bringing healthcare manufacturers, wholesalers, dealers and distributors together with some of the most important and influential decision-makers in the Arab world.

From 14 to 17 December 2007, Taipei International Travel Fair, one of the biggest annual travel industry events in the Asia-Pacific region, will showcase products and services from tourist operators from the region.

To be held from 12 to 15 November, World Travel Market is an annual business-to-business exhibition in London that provides a unique opportunity for the whole global travel trade industry to meet, network, negotiate, conduct business and stay abreast with the latest developments in the travel industry.

The International Medical Travel Conference, scheduled to be held in Manila, Philippines, between 19 and 23 November, is an annual event held to spearhead global medical travel developments by introducing new healthcare facilities and business opportunities to buyers, suppliers and healthcare providers.

From 6 to 7 October, Korea Student Fair will take place at the COEX, Seoul, Republic of Korea to promote Singapore Education with participation from our education institutions.

From 12 October and 12 November, Singapore Season in China will take place in Beijing and Shanghai.

From 13 to 14 October, the 4th OCSC International Educational Expo 2007 will take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. This is Bangkok’s largest education fair and Singapore Education will have a pavilion there.

From 19 to 21 October, Melaka Matta Travel Fair will take place at Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka, Malaysia and STB will participate in it to reinforce the image of Singapore as a hub for vibrant leisure and entertainment attractions.

On 23 October, China Educations Expo will take place at the Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao, PR China. China Education Expo is one of the largest education fairs in China and is approved by the Ministry of Education, PRC. Singapore Education will be in Qingdao to offer quality study options from 11 Singapore institutions.

From 31 October to 4 November, CITM will take place at the Kunming International Convention & Exhibition Center, Kunming, PR China. CITM is a major platform for developing inbound tourism, increasing tourism receipts in foreign exchanges and enhancing the international status of China tourism.

Abacus International Conference (AIC) 2007 will take place in Kota Kinabalu, the capital city of Sabah in East Malaysia from 5 to 8 September.

From 14 to 16 September the JATA World Travel Fair will take place in Tokyo, Japan at the Tokyo Big Sight.

On 16 September the Clipper Around the World Yacht Race 07/08 begins. Singapore's yacht, the Uniquely Singapore sets sail with the other competitors from Liverpool, United Kingdom.

From 25 to 27 September, OTDYKH Leisure Fair will take place at the International Exhibition Centre, "Crocus Expo", in Moscow, the Russian Federation. The trade is targeted at leisure travel buyers and will also have a MICE (Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conventions and Exhibitions) component.

From 26 to 28 September 07, MIBEX Russia will take t the International Exhibition Centre, "Crocus Expo", in Moscow, the Russian Federation. MIBEX targets MICE buyers.

On 12 August, the Singapore Education Roadshow will take place at the Aryaduta Hotel in Makassar, Indonesia.

STB will participate in the India Travel Mart which will take place at the Birla Auditorium, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India from 24 to 26 August.

STB will take part in the IKPII which will take place at the Jakarta Convention Centre in Indonesia from 25 to 26 August.

From 3 to 5 July, CIBTM (China Incentive, Business Travel, and Meetings Exhibition) will take place at the China World Exhibition Hall in Beijing. This is a three day event aimed at the global meetings and incentives industry. STB will participate in the fair.

From 13 to 15 July at the Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata, India, the Chalo Jaai Tour & Travel Exposition 2007 will take place. STB will participate in the fair.

From 10 to 12 September, at the Oman International Exhibition Centre, Muscat, Oman, MedX 2007 will take place. Singapore Medicine will participate in the fair that provides access for companies trying to penetrate the new healthcare markets.

From 20 to 23 July, at the Hotel Ashok, New Delhi, India, the Vivaha 2007 - Wedding Exhibition will take place and showcases honeymoon destinations mong other things. STB will take part in the exhibition.

From 7 to 10 June, the 20th Korea World Travel Fair 2007, organised by KOTFA Co., Ltd. and hosted by Korea Tourism Association will take place at Atlantic Hall, COEX, Seoul, South Korea.

On 16 June, Singapore Education will conduct a seminar at the Hua Ting Hotel, Shanghai, organised collaboratively by Singapore Education Specialists in Shanghai.

The Beijing International Travel Expo will take place at Beijing Exhibition Center, China, from 21 June to 23 June.

From 1 to 4 May the Arabian Travel Market 2007, a Travel & Tourism Exhibition with over 2,000 exhibitors, will take place at the Dubai World Trade Center.

From 8 to 10 May, BITE will showcase a wide range of travel and tourism products drawn from airlines, car rentals, cruise lines, hotels, tourism boards and travel & tour operators at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.

The Kaohsiung Travel Fair (KTF) is organised by the Kaohsiung Association of Travel Agents and is the largest domestic and outbound travel fair in the southern Taiwan market. The 2007 KTF will be held at the Industry and Commerce Exhibition Hall, Kaohsiung, Taiwan from 10 to 13 May.

Singapore Education will be taking part in the Times Education Boutique education fair in India on the following dates:

• In Kolkata from 12 to 13 May at the Swabhumi Hall

Singapore Education's international debut at NAFSA 2007 conference in Minneapolis, USA will promote education in Singapore to an international audience from 29 May to 1 June at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

The 1st Taiwan Tourism Exposition will be held in Taipei from 31 May to 3 June 2007 at the Taipei County Exhibition Hall, Taipei.

From 10 to 13 April the China International Medical Equipment Fair 2007 will take place at the Dailan World Expo Center in Dalian, China.

From 14 to 15 April at the The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi, Singapore Education will take part in Aspirations 2007 - Education Exhibition, promoting education in Singapore with participation from Singapore educational institutions.

Singapore Education will be taking part in the Times Education Boutique education fair in India on the following dates:

• In Ahemdabad from 7 to 8 April at the Rajpath Club
• In Nagpur from 11 to 12 April at The Pride Hotel
• In Pune from 14 to 15 April at the Hotel Le Meridian
• In Mumbai from 21 to 22 April at the Hotel Taj Lands End
• In Hyderabad from 28 to 29 April at the Hotel Taj Krishna
• In Kolkata from 12 to 13 May at the Swabhumi Hall

From 14 to 15 April at the Royal Exhibition Building the STB will take part in the Travel Xpo Melbourne. This is an established trade event and has been in operation for over twenty years, providing a useful platform to raise awareness of the destinations and holidays on offer at a key decision making time of year for consumers.

Arogya 2007

From 20 to 23 April at the Parade Ground, Dehradun, Uttarakhand in India Singapore Medicine will take part in the Arogya 2007 which is organised by Department of Ayush, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and FICCI. The healthcare providers involved will provide more in-depth information about their services and facilities. SingaporeMedicine's participation in the exhibition will help raise the level of awareness of Singapore's available healthcare offerings.

From 26 to 28 April at the Winter Garden, Dhaka Sheraton Hotel in Dhaka, Bangladesh the STB will take part in the 4th Dhaka International Travel Exhibition 2007. STB has taken a booth which will have participants from Dhaka Agents and SIA Dhaka.

From 1 to 4 May, the STB will take part in the Arabian Travel Market at the Dubai World Trade Center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The travel and tourism exhibition typically has over 2,000 exhibitors and is an event where destinations, resorts, airlines and travel services go to develop new business.

Singapore Education takes on several Chinese cities this month with the 12th China International Education Exhibition Tour 2007 where it will be in the following cities:

• Beijing from 3 to 4 March
• Chongqing from 6 to 7 March
• Shanghai from 10 to 11 March
• Nanjing from 13 to 14 March
• Guangzhou from 17-18 March

Taiwan Lantern Festival is an annual event organised by the Tourism Bureau Taiwan (TBT) and Taiwan Visitors Association in celebration of the Chinese New Year. STB Taipei was invited by TBT to participate in the event which will be held in Chia Yi County, Taiwan from 4 to 11 March.

The Internationale Tourismus Borse (ITB), Berlin, is the largest travel show in the world and will be held from 7 March to 11 April in Berlin, Germany.

GIBTM will unite international and local meetings and incentives venues, destinations, suppliers and partners with meeting planners, incentive travel buyers and decision makers and take place from 13 to 15 March at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre

The Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition will take place from 21 to 24 March in Moscow, Russia.

The annual Sydney Holiday & Travel Xpo will be held from 24 to 25 March at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Australia.

The World Healthcare Congress - Europe 2007 will reconvene over 500 leaders from key organisations advancing health care in Europe including providers, payers, suppliers, customers, policy-makers and health officials from 26 to 28 March in Barcelona, Spain.

The Brisbane Sunday Mail Escape Expo will be held from 31 March to 1 April in Brisbane, Australia at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Flight Centre Travel Expo

Flight Centre, one of the largest retail travel agencies in Australia, will be holding its annual series of consumer travel expos in cities across Australia:

• In Sydney from 3 to 4 February Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
• In Melbourne from 10 to 11 February at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre
• In Perth from 10 to 11 February at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre

The AFTA Sunday Mail Holiday Expo is a premier travel show in South Australia and now in its 26th year. It will be held from 9 to 11 February at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide, Australia.

The Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) 2006 will be held in Melbourne, Australia, from 13 to 14 February 2007 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. AIME is a premier trade show for the MICE industry.

The annual Perth Holiday and Travel Expo will take place from 16 to 18 February at Fremantle Passenger Terminal, Perth, Australia.

Singapore Food Promotion: Tiger Beer Chili Crab Festival in Dubai

From 26 to 27 January the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai, UAE, will host the Tiger Beer Chili Crab Festival, after it's roaring success in London last year. From 29 January to 1 February the largest healthcare event for Middle East, Arab Health 2007, will take place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, Dubai UAE.

ITF is the largest travel fair in Taiwan and dates back to 1987. Since then it has established itself as the premier travel fair for both domestic and outbound travel. In recent years, ITF has transformed into a more consumer-oriented event. STB will be participating in the fair, which runs from 3 to 6 December at the Taipei World Trade Centre (TWTC), Taiwan, to promoted Singapore and create new business opportunities.

MedExpo 2006 is an international exposition for medical and dental equipment, pharmaceutical products and healthcare services. It will be held in Dhaka from 7 to 9 December at the Dhaka Sheraton Hotel. The STB aims to increase awareness of Singapore's healthcare services and facilities within medical community at MedExpo.

The STB is leading an annual contingent of Singapore industry partners to the World Travel Market 2006, to be held in London, UK, from 6 to 9 November. The event offers opportunities to renew trade relations and discover new leads for overseas partnerships.

The 3rd OCSC Education Expo will be held from 11 and 12 November in Bangkok, Thailand at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. Singapore Education and participating education institutions will be there to promote education in Singapore to potential international overseas students.

Training of new Singapore Education Specialists will be conducted on 13 and 14 November at the Shangri-La Hotel in Surabaya, Indonesia.

EIBTM connects exhibitors, meeting professionals and hosted buyers in Barcelona this year from 28 to 30 November. The STB will lead a delegation of Singapore industry partners to the event and aims to build new leads for incentive travel, conventions and corporate meetings from Europe to Singapore.

STB Johor is bringing Uniquely Singapore to the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair in Malacca, at the Mahkota Parade Shopping Complex from 13 to 15 October 2006. The MATTA Fair is a key travel fair in Southern Malaysia and provides a platform for travel trade partners to showcase their latest products to Malaysian consumers.
