New Singapore GP Season highlights

The Singapore GP Season rolls into town on 20 September for a span of three weekends till 5 October and promises an action-packed time for everyone seeking a unique and memorable lifestyle experience. From jazz concerts to pop performances, art showings to fashion showcases, wine & dine events to shopping and other leisure pursuits, the Singapore GP Season has got it all to suit every taste.

New season highlights

. IndoChine Festival 2008 (20 to 28 September) will feature a top-notch event line-up including an exclusive yacht party, the IndoChine Classical Golf Tournament, a Tropical Fiesta Gala Night and international DJ acts at various Indochine outlets.

. STYLO Fashion Grand Prix, Singapore (26 September) By-invitation only, this private event for Southeast Asia's socialites and fashionistas will feature runway models showcasing internationally-renowned luxury labels and Malaysia's leading fashion designers.

. MillionaireAsia Private Aviation Show (26 to 27 September) is exclusively for affluent and discerning high net-worth individuals. The premium aviation event is set in a private hangar and will highlight the glitzy high-life of owning and travelling in private jets and helicopters. It will also provide potential buyers and clients the opportunity to meet with stakeholders of the private aviation industry, interact in a conducive and exclusive environment, while viewing a display of luxurious top-of-the-line private aircraft.

. The Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève - Asia Edition 2008 (27 to 29 September) honours the world's best personal timepieces which will be awarded top accolades in this world-class horlogerie event. Held for the first time outside Switzerland, the first Asia Edition of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève comprises a two-day exhibition of luxurious watches from 27 to 29 September at Paragon Shopping Atrium and a Gala Dinner held on 30 September at the Four Seasons Hotel.

Megadance Singapore: "A Racing Party" (27 September) is touted as the unofficial race party happening after the qualifying race of the 2008 FORMULA 1T SingTel Singapore Grand Prix at Suntec Singapore. Party-goers can expect a spectacular mix of sound and light technology, and music, courtesy of famous international DJs from Europe and Asia.

. ASH - Live in Concert 2008 (2 October) at Fort Canning Green will appeal to fans of alternative rock. Formed in 1992, the Irish band is best known for hits such as 'Girl From Mars' and 'Shining Light'. ASH - Live in Concert is presented together with the Singapore Beer Festival, which is also part of the Singapore GP Season, at Fort Canning Park. The first 500 concert ticket buyers will enjoy free entry to the inaugural festival of beer in Singapore.
