2008 (27 to 29 September) honours the world's best personal
timepieces which will be awarded top accolades in this world-class horlogerie
event. Held for the first time outside Switzerland, the first Asia Edition of
the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève comprises a two-day exhibition of
luxurious watches from 27 to 29 September at Paragon Shopping Atrium and a Gala
Dinner held on 30 September at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Singapore Beer Festival, 2 to 5 October

. Megadance Singapore: "A Racing Party" (27 September) is
touted as the unofficial race party happening after the qualifying race of the
2008 FORMULA 1T SingTel Singapore Grand Prix at Suntec Singapore. Party-goers
can expect a spectacular mix of sound and light technology, and music, courtesy
of famous international DJs from Europe and Asia.
. ASH - Live in Concert 2008 (2 October) at Fort Canning Green
will appeal to fans of alternative rock. Formed in 1992, the Irish band is best
known for hits such as 'Girl From Mars' and 'Shining Light'. ASH - Live in
Concert is presented together with the Singapore Beer Festival, which is also
part of the Singapore GP Season, at Fort Canning Park. The first 500 concert
ticket buyers will enjoy free entry to the inaugural festival of beer in
Singapore.
