The STB Opens Regional Office in Beijing
The STB has opened a regional office in Beijing on 14 November. This is its second regional office in P R China. The opening of the second office will enable the Board to maintain close ties with Chinese industry partners and have a better understanding of the needs of consumers in the market. The Visitor Centre is also housed within the office to provide destination information to customers.

Located within the Beijing Central Business District, STB Beijing is the communications and operating hub for Greater China, housing both the STB’s Greater China and Northern China teams. The former focuses on strategy,
long-term planning and collaborations with trade partners, while the latter undertakes tactical marketing. The STB’s strengthened presence in P R China will enable it to step up its market developmental efforts in this important source market.

With the set up of STB Beijing, the following staff have re-located from STB Shanghai to STB Beijing:-
