STB Veteran, Lee Loong Koon, Retires
After 17 years with the STB, Mr Lee Loong Koon, Director, Emergency Planning, has retired on 29 November.

Prior to joining the Board in 1988, Loong Koon was with a number of companies in both the private and public sectors during the early years of his career. He brought with him a repertoire of experience in operations and marketing to the Board.

Loong Koon held leadership positions in varied functions and businesses, spanning from industry services, events, cruise business, exhibitions & conventions, regional work covering ASEAN (Mainland) to emergency planning. Loong Koon also went beyond his core work to contribute his expertise through Directorship and Board Memberships in Statutory Boards such as Singapore Indoor Stadium and Jurong BirdPark. Loong Koon’s commitment to the Board is invaluable and the Board appreciates his many contributions during his service.

Subsequent to his retirement, the STB will continue to draw on his expertise and experience by appointing him as a consultant to the STB’s emergency planning efforts.
