Southeast Asia's First Luge Ride Opens at Sentosa
The Sentosa Luge, the first-of-its-kind facility in Southeast Asia, lets riders race down or cruise leisurely along a 650m paved track from a 12-storey-high hill top. With the specially designed luge cart that combines a unique steering and braking system, riders have full control over how thrilling or laid-back they want their ride to be.

This is the latest attraction on Singapore's leisure and resort island, Sentosa. It is situated on a hilltop opposite Carlsberg Sky Tower at Imbiah Lookout's cluster of attractions, including the Images of Singapore museum and the Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom.

From the hilltop, the Sentosa Luge tracks wind down to finish at Siloso Beach, Singapore's hippest beach. The aerial chairlift then takes riders and luge carts back to the starting point through a 320m-long scenic ride among the tropical rainforest, with your feet dangling in the air. Each downhill ride can be anywhere from one minute for a fast rider to five minutes for a slow one. The chairlift ride in one direction lasts about five minutes.

Sentosa Luge has two access points - on a hilltop opposite the Carlsberg Sky Tower or Siloso Beach. The main target audience of the Sentosa Luge is youths and families, as it provides an adrenaline fix right in the middle of a green oasis of tranquillity.
