Launch of Tourism Portal (visitSingapore.com)
The Board is pleased to announce the launch of the Tourism Portal, located at visitSingapore.com. The site is available in three languages - English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese and provides information for leisure and BTMICE visitors.

The tourism portal offers the following user-friendly applications:

• Downloading of brochures in PDF format
• Maps for the attractions and hotels - click on "View Map" to see maps
• Accommodation search
• Industry partner videos on various aspects of Singapore
• Post your quotes
• Sending of ecards

By March 2006, the Tourism Portal will be available in 12 languages - Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Thai, Traditional Chinese and Vietnamese.

By then, the site will also contain nine additional applications that will offer greater convenience and interactivity for users, including "Post your Photos", an itinerary planner, online games, quick polls, currency converter, and a tool to request for proposals, among others.
