Malaysia and Singapore encourage cross-causeway youth travel

The Malaysia-Singapore Tourism Council (MSTC) has launched a scheme to encourage greater youth travel and exchange between both countries.

In conjunction with International Youth Day, youths 21 years of age and below in Malaysia and Singapore will be given complimentary admission to various attractions when they visit each other’s country. The promotion will run until 17 September 2006.

With so many things to see and do, Malaysian youths can take their pick from Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park, Sentosa Island admission and 4D-Magix Theatre, DHL Balloon (one-ride) or Singapore Discovery Centre.

Across the causeway, Singaporean youths can experience Malaysia’s tourism offerings such as Sunway Lagoon, Zoo Melaka and Night Zoo, KLCC Petrosains, Putrajaya boat ride or A’ Famosa entrance admission.

Those eligible will only have to produce their valid passports at the entrance of the selected attractions for the complimentary admission.  There is also no limit to the number of complimentary attractions one can enjoy per visit.
