Uniquely Singapore delights at Vietnam fair

An orang utan, the Sentosa Luge and 4D Magix were among the key attractions that drew more than 6,000 Vietnamese  visitors to the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) booth at the second International Travel Expo (ITE) in Ho Chi Minh City from 4 to 6 August.

Many visitors took photographs with the orang utan against the garden city backdrop, while others chose backdrop photographs showcasing two of Singapore’s newest attractions – Sentosa Luge and 4D Magix – as well as other destination landmarks, cuisine and festivals.

At the fair, the STB’s Vietnam office also launched a ‘Celebrate with us on Singapore’s National Day’ 2-to-go Free & Easy package, jointly with Singapore Airlines, to boost visitor arrivals in August and September.

With package prices starting at US$168 including two nights’ hotel stay, it was the most attractive offer to Singapore ever introduced in Vietnam. More than 2,000 flyers were distributed at the show.
