|
This month, we celebrate Singapore’s birthday – the day our sunny island became more than a colonial port to launch ships and was born as a nation.
It is, therefore, with a warm feeling of national pride, that we celebrate a number of launches at the Board.
We recently launched the second phase of our ‘Uniquely Singapore’ brand journey. ‘Beyond Words’ is our way of going beyond promoting product attributes to delving deeper into the unique, personal experiences each visitor has when he or she is in Singapore. |
|
We have also just launched an incentive scheme and marketing campaign called ‘BE In Singapore’ to encourage the global Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conferences and Events community to make Singapore their first destination of choice.
Our Uniquely Singapore Clipper has done us proud as well, since it launched last September. Just as our little nation has sailed through the global arena and thrived, our crew of sailors has won several laps and sailed across the finish line after traversing the world.
And we must not forget that we are coming up to P@SSPORT's first birthday as well. We launched this newsletter 12 months ago to offer you a direct link to news from STB and your industry. We hope all of you will help make the next 12 months even better by telling us what you’ve enjoyed reading and what you hope to read in P@SSPORT.
We hope you will enjoy reading this issue and keep your feedback and suggestions coming. Do share your own unique, personal experiences of Singapore with us so we know what our nation means to you as well.
Sincerely, Ken Low Assistant Chief Executive Brand & Communications | | |
