In-market Activities From the world’s largest travel trade show to the world’s largest cruise event, the STB and its partners will be there in force to promote Singapore.

ITB 2006, Berlin Each year, hundreds of thousands of delegates from the international travel industry gather in Berlin for what is the largest travel trade show in the world. ITB 2006 attracts delegates from all sectors of the industry – from NTOs to tour operators to hoteliers to technology providers. This year's show will be held from 8-12 March and the STB will be there in full force, as it is every year, to woo the high-yield, lucrative longhaul dollar.

Seatrade Cruise Shipping Convention, Miami The convention is the largest annual gathering of cruise line owners, operators and suppliers in the world. Over the course of its two decades, the Seatrade Convention has been the showcase of the latest innovations in marine technology and has seen the introduction of shipboard amenities that have changed the cruise experience. From gas turbine engines to computerized navigation and high- tech security systems, Seatrade provides a venue where the cruise lines come to shop for the latest in gadgets and gizmos. The convention will be held in Miami from 13-16 March.

Education Fairs are in the spotlight in March as the STB promotes Singapore Education in markets such as Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand
2nd International Education Expo in Medan, Indonesia 3-5 March This event is one of the largest education exhibitions in Medan, attracting more than 45 exhibitors and around 13,000 visitors last year.

- 5 March, Crowne Plaza Riverside, Kuching, Sarawak
Singapore Education Fair in Bangkok, 18-19 March A stand-alone fair focusing on Singapore Education only, the last fair attracted more than 2,000 visitors.
Korea Student Fair 2006, Korea, 25-26 March The largest education fair held in South Korea twice a year. Last year, the exhibition attracted more than 29,000 people and more than 450 exhibitors. |
