New Visitor Information Centre at Chinatown Heritage Centre
Opened since 16 December, the Visitor Information Centre (VIC) at Chinatown Heritage Centre will enhance visitors’ experiences in Chinatown and provide them primarily with information about this ethnic enclave, such as its many attractions and the best places to eat and shop. The centre also provides brochures on other tourism products in Singapore and ticketing services for Sentosa tours and attractions, including the Cable Car. Visitors can look forward to more tours on offer at the VIC in future.

Apart from the VIC at the Chinatown Heritage Centre which focuses on Chinatown specifically, there are nine Singapore Visitors Centres (SVCs) located islandwide. These SVCs provide visitors with information on hotels, transportation, sightseeing and entertainment options in Singapore. Selected SVCs also offer value-added services such as tour and hotel bookings, sale of souvenirs and attraction/events/concerts tickets, internet surfing, currency exchange, video presentations and live demonstrations that showcase Singapore's events, festivals and attractions.
