Business Events
One of the biggest air shows in the world, Asian Aerospace, will kick off the February calendar as the movers and shakers of the aviation world flock into Singapore to learn about what’s new in the world of flight.

 

Asian Aerospace
Asian Aerospace is one of the world's premier air shows and has grown in size and stature for the past 25 years. This year, it will be held between 21 – 26 February at Changi Exhibition Centre with an expected turnout of more than 5,000 foreign visitors.

New highlights include the Asia Training & Simulation 2006, a technology platform featuring cutting-edge training and simulation products and services for the defence and commercial aviation sectors. 

Building on the successful launch of the unmanned aerial vehicle exhibition pavillion in 2004, this year promises to be even more exciting as Asian Aerospace 2006 welcomes a much larger exhibitors representation covering air, land and naval unmanned technologies in the Unmanned Technologies (UT) pavilion.


Unmanned Systems Asia-Pacific 2006
The Unmanned Systems Asia-Pacific 2006 will be a comprehensive, two-day conference covering topics across all aspects of unmanned systems, including air, land and maritime. It is organised by the Association for Unmanned Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI) and held from 19 – 20 February at the Changi Exhibition Centre.

AUVSI is the world’s largest organisation devoted to unmanned systems. In conjunction with Asian Aerospace 2006, this conference will cover the leading unmanned systems topics from around the world, with special focus on Asia-Pacific and, especially Singaporean efforts and developments.


Land Defence Asia Conference
The theme for Land Defence Asia Conference is "Force Transformation in Motion: Homeland Defence and Urban Operations". The inaugural Land Defence Asia Conference to be held on 20 February, also at the Changi Exhibition Centre, will examine lessons learnt and challenges faced by leading armed forces as they transform to deal with homeland defence, low-intensity conflict and urban warfare. The invited speakers include distinguished academia, military and civilian leaders.

The Land Defence Asia Conference will bring together leading international academia, military leaders and defence administrators.


17th International Zurich Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility 
The 17th International Zurich Symposium in Electromagnetic Compatibility will be held from 27 February – 3 March at the Suntec International Convention & Exhibition Centre. This is the first time the symposium takes place outside Europe in Singapore.

Covering the entire scope of electromagnetic compatibility, the 17th International Zurich Symposium in Electromagnetic Compatibility will feature international manufacturers and distributors of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) related equipment and tools seeking to create partnerships improve and promote their services to industry users in the areas of EMC, RF/Microwave engineering and wireless communications.
